Tucked away in her sunny Fitzroy studio, Melbourne womenswear designer ROBYN BLACK works tirelessly creating impeccible + cutting edge collections.

New Zealand born and raised, Robyn Black moved to Australia in 1998 before she began her eponymous label, ROBYN BLACK.  Her work is coveted by many Melbourne women  who have discovered her signature style.

The Robyn Black aesthetic has been described as being truly 'Melbourne'.  Her palette usually consists of blacks + variations of white and cream as a backdrop to exquisite soft colours and textures, and she is most definitely ahead of her time.  Her aesthetic compromises of immaculate tailoring with a splash of androgyny, and draws much inspiration from vintage construction techniques and detailing.
